Meet New 20/20 Club Member Eboni Baten!

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Eboni Baten to the 20/20 Club! She tells us, "I am born and raised from Charlotte, NC and have never lived anywhere else, which makes me a unicorn apparently because every time I meet someone they always tell me I’m the first person they’ve met who was born in Charlotte and stayed, lol. Some of my interests are reading, cooking, and traveling, and I’ve found an awesome way to incorporate all of those things into my business by reading about new restaurants in different cities and I will literally go to that city to try that restaurant!! I’m a total foodie!

"My travel experiences include Punta Cana, the Bahamas, Cancun, I’ve been to Jamaica a few times and stateside various cities in FL, GA, TX, MD, VA, NV and SC. The beautiful thing about being in this business is that you can utilize a lot of the training conferences to go places you would not have otherwise visited.

"The best piece of advice I can give to someone is to NOT give up!! To some, network marketing comes easy to them. If you’ve never done a business like this, it may truly seem scary or even frustrating to you. You have to get a thick skin. Referring to Dir. Watkins-Mukes’ color training, I’m a hard core yellow. I want everyone to be in this business because I know without a doubt it can help them!! It took me a LONG time to get used to people saying 'no' to me or that this business was a pyramid scheme!! Emotional intelligence is a must as well as being coached by the RIGHT coach! If you find yourself not getting what you need from your sponsor or upline, reach around them to find the right one and stay close to them!

"A little bit about myself: at 43, I’ve had Multiple Sclerosis since I was 28. I’m very transparent about my illness for various reasons in this business. #1 being that most people see me showing up to the meetings or events and I look 'normal,' but most times I’m often very tired or exhausted but I still show up for my business, so please keep the excuses to yourself. #2 I want potential prospects to see that yes, you might have a disability or even be on Social Security but you can still work this business, because I’m proof of it. And #3, this is the PERFECT business for some of those who do have a disability!! I’ve been partially paralyzed, suffered from vertigo and debilitating migraines and still worked this business from my phone and laptop so I could still receive a paycheck while I couldn’t work! And that was simply the power of the matrix which I am grateful for!"
