PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Nicole Kaunda to the 20/20 Club! Nicole tells us, "I’m originally from England and currently live in the vibrant city of London. I’m passionate about personal development, travelling, and teaching others. Whether it’s helping someone grow their confidence, start a business, or discover their own potential, I find real joy in sharing knowledge and supporting others on their journey. My favourite speaker of all time is Jim Rohn — his wisdom has shaped much of how I view success and growth. One of his quotes that truly resonates with me is: 'A job will make you a living, but profits will make you a fortune.'
"Travel has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been fortunate enough to explore many places around the world, but my favorite destinations so far have been the white sandy beaches of Jamaica, the breathtaking skyline and stunning architecture of Dubai, and the tropical paradise of Phuket, Thailand. One of my most unforgettable moments was visiting an elephant sanctuary in the lush jungles of Phuket — I even had the chance to swim with baby elephants. It was serene, soul-stirring, and one of the most heartwarming experiences of my life.
"My success at PlanNet Marketing comes from sharing my genuine love for travel and my entrepreneurial spirit. I’ve been passionate about business since I was sixteen, when I started my first venture braiding hair. While working full-time as a psychiatric nurse and raising two young boys, I needed something more flexible. PlanNet Marketing allowed me to run a business from home, around my children at ease, and thus it was a no-brainer.
"Key strategies that have worked for me include: Starting new conversations daily, confidently asking people if they’re open to partnering, and maintaining a strong mindset. There were many times I had to silence self-doubt, dig deep into my 'why,' and just take action. I truly believe that people can live the life they love — and the quote that always comes to mind is from Bob Marley: 'Love the life you live, and live the life you love.'
"It's been a journey, but I believe it’s a mix of consistency, clarity, and personal growth. One of my biggest breakthroughs was overcoming my fear of public speaking — Toastmasters played a huge role in that. Improving my communication has made it much easier to connect with people and share this incredible opportunity.
"Fun fact: Here’s a fun one — I once participated in an Afro Hair and Beauty show with less than 24 hours’ notice! I even walked the catwalk and met Beyoncé in person back when she was in Destiny’s Child. I swore I’d never wash my hand again after shaking hers... but let’s just say that didn't last long!"
