Congratulations to Lauren Fetherolf for Achieving the 80/80 Club!
1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
- I was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, and raised in Mt. Clemens, Michigan; current city: Arlington, Virginia.
- I am a traditional award-winning business owner and recipient of the Rising Star Award from NAWBO (the National Association of Women Business Owners), an author, and a military/civilian spouse for a total of 40 years. We have two grown college graduates who are gainfully employed with Raytheon and Marriott.
- I enjoy decorating, cooking, and traveling the world with family and dear friends on group excursions to the Holy Land, Dubai, and other exotic places. I also enjoy cruises and booking group cruises.
- My past business highlights include: Winning a BMW convertible and becoming a Managing Director with a local division of a $2 billion publicly traded company; creating, operating, and ultimately selling an award-winning business, which was so exciting; and writing and publishing my first two books.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
Wow! I have grown in so many ways. I now appreciate and value the industry of network marketing. I am a much better leader and mentor. I am definitely more coachable than I was when I first joined.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
Today I am driven by the limitation of time and the consequences of declining health. As a result, this business is a much better option for me than any retirement plan with the legacy feature.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
In the Bible: I would consider the Proverbs 31 woman – why? Because her priorities align with mine (wife, mother, and businesswoman).
In Life: My Mother for the same reasons.
In this business: Director/Pastor Ferne Sapp, and Mrs. Deborah Bradley, for the same reasons.
They are each dedicated, devoted, loving, and loyal women who are confident in their service to their families and in their service to mankind on a larger scale in their own businesses and/or careers.
5. The three words that describe me best are:
Ingenious, Tenacious, and Thoughtful.
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Seek first the kingdom of heaven. Live life with the end game in mind of how you want to be remembered when you take your last breath. Learn to graciously receive wise counsel and be a blessing to others in both words and deeds.
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
By the grace of God, I will have more of everything else I want in life, including more peace and patience with others and less frustration with my and others’ limitations. I will be known for helping thousands of people live a better life in Christ, in their marriages, and in their businesses, regardless of their actual or perceived limitations.
