1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was raised in the small town of Webster, Minnesota, with my brother and my parents, and I went to high school in New Prague. I had an amazing childhood and grew up playing hockey, volleyball, and track. I spent most of my life outdoors, and I still love being outside and spending time at the cabin.
My husband and I currently live in Shakopee, MN, but we’re planning to move to the Sunshine State in spring of 2027. We love being outdoors and are excited to experience more of the beach life. Traveling has also become a huge part of our lives, and building this business has allowed me to combine two things I love—travel and helping people create more freedom in their lives.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
This business has completely transformed my confidence and given me a much clearer sense of who I am. Before joining, I had never used Zoom or really put myself out there on camera. Now, I’m much more confident speaking in front of people, sharing my story, and putting myself out there without worrying so much about what others think. It has pushed me far outside my comfort zone, and I’m excited to see how much more I’ll continue to grow.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
My team is what motivates and drives me the most. Helping people achieve success, hit new ranks and milestones, and grow in their confidence is what truly lights me up. There is genuinely nothing I love more than watching someone realize what they’re capable of and helping them get there.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My mentor, Danielle Kedward. I truly look up to her and her story. She has shown me what is possible when you’re willing to just go for it, before you’re ready and before you have everything figured out. She’s taught me that messy action is often the best kind of action and that the sky really is the limit when you’re willing to chase your dreams. I feel incredibly lucky to have her as my mentor, and so much of the success I’ve experienced would not have been possible without her guidance and belief in me.
5. The three words that describe me best are:
Ambitious, charismatic, and passionate.
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Bet on yourself. You don’t have to have it all figured out, you just have to be willing to start. Stay consistent, stay coachable, surround yourself with people who challenge you and believe in you, and don’t be afraid to want more. Don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s, and most importantly, don’t let fear make your decisions for you. Do it scared, trust yourself, and figure it out along the way.
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Five years from now, I picture myself living in Florida, waking up with the freedom to spend my time the way I choose. I see myself traveling the world regularly, enjoying the finer things in life, and having the financial freedom to say yes to experiences without hesitation. Five years from now, my business has grown far beyond what I could have imagined, with a huge community of successful people I’ve had the privilege of mentoring and growing alongside. I want to look back at the version of me who took a chance on herself and be able to say, “I’m so glad I bet on myself and didn’t play small.”
