The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Sylvia Naomi

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born and raised in Kenya and now live in the UK with my daughter. I enjoy hiking, forest walks, and traveling—anything that allows me to connect with nature and create memories. Before starting this business, I had no prior business experience, but I was open to learning and determined to build something meaningful.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
This business has helped me grow on a whole new level—not just in business, but in life. The IMVs and the books we read as a company have played a major role in my growth. I’ve developed a genuine love for personal development and now find so much joy in helping others grow, too. As Jim Rohn said, ‘Your level of success will rarely exceed your level of personal development.’ That quote has truly come to life for me through this journey.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
At the beginning of my business journey, securing a legacy for my daughter was a major driving force. Now that I’ve accomplished that—with the help of my team—my motivation is to help them secure a legacy for their loved ones.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
One role model I truly admire is Michelle Obama. She embodies strength, grace, and authenticity. Her dedication to empowering others, especially women and young people, inspires me to lead with purpose and integrity. She reminds me that you can be powerful and compassionate at the same time—and that leadership starts with staying true to who you are.

5. The three words that describe me best are:
Supportive. Passionate. Driven.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would‌ it be?
If I could give you one piece of advice, it would be this: don’t give up and keep showing up. Success in this business doesn’t happen overnight, but every small step you take brings you closer to your goals. There will be challenges, setbacks, and moments of doubt—but those who win are the ones who stay consistent, stay coachable, and keep moving forward no matter what. Trust the process, lean on your team, and remember why you started. Your breakthrough could be one step away—so don’t stop now.

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
In the next five years, I will be running this business full-time and spending quality time with my daughter, doing the things that bring us joy—like traveling around the world. Most importantly, I will be sharing the business and everything I’ve learned with as many people as I can. This business is life-changing, and many people are praying for an opportunity like the one we have. It’s my duty to share it with as many people as possible.
