The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Natalie Phillips
1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born and raised in Bridgetown, Barbados.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I have grown so much since I joined the PlanNet because the leaders open my eyes to see differently. Firstly from the word (the Bible). I was a hamster on the wheel. I don't have that poverty mindset any longer, I was able to step out in faith and make sacrifices to accomplish my goals.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
Purchasing my dream home and demonstrating to my kids the value of perseverance, especially during challenging periods when it's crucial to remain focused on achieving one's goals, drives me and shows others how I didn't come from the best environment, sleeping on the floors, going to school hungry but perseverance, consistency and belief can accomplish any goal you put your mind to.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
There are a lot of people I admire in this business but Director Green is my role model. Why, you ask? She earns six figures, and I want to earn six figures. She knows how to keep the team informed and she believed in me before I did.
5. The three words that describe me best are:
Determined, focused and driven.
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Here's my advice to anyone: stay focused on your dreams and goals, and let no one deter you with the negativity. Press forward with determination!
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Five years from now, I will be working this business full-time and I will have a team of over 2000 people. I would own apartments so I would be able to help people in the community who cannot afford to pay high rent to live comfortably.
