The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Nadia Hatalyak

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born and raised in Ukraine, and I’ve been living in the United States for 11 years, currently in New York. I’ve been working since the age of 18, and for the past nine years, I was employed in the medical field. However, in December, I made the life-changing decision to leave my job and fully dedicate my time to myself, my family, and my business.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I joined PlanNet over three and a half years ago with the simple intention of booking travel for myself and my loved ones. For the first year, I didn’t truly understand what PlanNet Marketing was all about. But once I took the time to learn and realized I wasn’t alone in this journey, I began sharing the opportunity with others. In just two and a half years, I’ve built a team of 275 people and achieved milestones I never thought possible.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
What motivates me the most is the freedom to control my own schedule and life. I love being independent and no longer dependent on anyone else. Most importantly, I’m motivated by the legacy I can now build and leave for my children.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My mentors and motivators, Ulyana Wojan and Yana Ponce, are huge role models for me. They are living proof that a simple immigrant, with imperfect English and no prior experience, but with strong determination and a desire to grow and help others, can achieve incredible success.

5. The three words that describe me best are:
Joyful, Persistent, Communicative.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would‌ it be?
Never give up. Keep pushing forward toward your goal with determination. Don’t listen to or focus on people who have achieved nothing in their lives. Instead, follow those who lead by example and show that anything is possible.

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Five years from now, I no longer want to ask myself when, where, or how long I can travel—I just want to go. I dream of exploring the world, showing it to my children and my parents, and simply enjoying the life I have created.
