1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was raised in a small farming town in Missouri. I currently live in Humble, Texas. I'm an empty nester mom of four grown sons. I have worked in the medical field for 20 years.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
In my past, I never believed that I could change my circumstances. I was raised to do what you were supposed to do, get a job and work as long as you had to. Since PlanNet, I learned I am the decision-maker. If I want it, I can go get it. I can choose a better way for myself and my family.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
I came from a poor family. We could not afford to travel. Our vacations were to grandma's house in the summer. I want to show others that no matter where you come from, you can travel the world and change your life.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
Michelle Obama, because no matter what obstacles were laid upon her, she never let that take her out of her character. They go low, you go high.
5. The three words that describe me best are:
Compassionate, hard-working and driven.
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
That you are the decider of your destiny. Just because family or others tell you what you should do, it doesn't make it true. Explore, research and decide for yourself. If there is a will, there is a way.
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Continuing to travel and enrich my life. Showing my sons that life is what you make it.
