1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born and raised in Devon, Southwest UK. I live in a pink cottage in the middle of the English countryside with my husband, Ryan, and our dog, Buddy. We only really have one hobby... and that is to travel the world! We have been on two backpacking trips together. The first one was to South America in 2023 (before we found this business). We saw lots of digital nomad couples working from the beach/pool and were desperate to know how they did it! When we arrived home, we found this business. On our second backpacking trip around South East Asia in 2025, we were that digital nomad travelling couple!
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I'm not sure I can eloquently put into words how incredible and life-changing this self-development journey has been. I have grown so much as a person both in confidence and in my general outlook on life. I came from a very small-minded area where I grew up, so it took a lot for me to break out of that and see the full potential of the business, but also of myself. I used to think so negatively about myself and I knew something had to change. I got myself a mindset coach and in the space of 2 months, my business tripled! Ever since then I have truly embraced the self-development journey and everything that comes with it - the ups, the downs and the huge rollercoaster. I now run self-development training for the team and a self-development book club. I remember my first ever Zoom call was for 4 people, and I was absolutely terrified!! Now I can host calls for hundreds of people and don't even think about it. It has been such a journey and I'm forever grateful that I embraced the self-development that comes with this business.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
My why has changed throughout this business. At the beginning it was to supplement my minimum wage job, as I had no idea I could actually create my dream life! Until I saw others completely change their lives, so my why changed to leaving my job which was well and truly burning me out... which I did. Now my why is to build a willable income for our future family, to be able to travel the world whenever we wish and to retire my husband from his job which drains him. The true goal here is financial freedom, choices and family security.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
I have a lot of role models in my life, including my incredible mentors, Ellen Pearce, Jo Lashley, Lyndsey Middleton and of course, Caroline Hamilton!
I was friends with Ellen when we were at university a long time ago, so to watch her develop into a successful, driven and determined businesswoman right before my eyes is so inspiring. Myself and Ellen are very close as I've been in her team since the start and we have celebrated every milestone together. From Jo, Lyndsey and Caroline I take very different inspirations from them. From Jo I take her consistency and persistence. From Lyndsey I take her softness, calmness and level-headedness. From Caroline, I take her dedication, grit and drive. They are all incredible women whom I look up to everyday.
5. The three words that describe me best are:
Driven, resilient and ambitious.
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
Become resilient. You will have obstacles, no's, objections. That's business. But the quicker you can learn to take the emotion out of it and become resilient, the quicker you will win.
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
In five years time, I will have gone from a minimum wage job draining job to a self-made millionaire. I will be travelling the world with my husband and our kid/s, living the real life of our dreams.
