The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Kendra Theaker

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born and raised in Cardiff. I’m usually flying about the world, but this winter I’m home enjoying it with friends and family. I love to meet new people, take spontaneous trips and loveeee a restaurant vibe. It’s currently just me and my husband and we are building a life that we are obsessed with because before, my days were stuck in hospitality management. I do say it’s an industry I hate to love but it taught me so much.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
Since joining PlanNet, I’ve been on a whole new personal development journey. The business has given me more than freedom, it’s brought friends, challenges, new environments and pushed me to level up myself to keep getting in the right rooms

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
I’m driven by impact. Knowing I can help others create a life on their terms without the burnout. I’m sure we all know that feeling. I love the idea of not just changing someone’s life but their family to come. A decision one person made changes the trajectory of generations to come and that in itself is so powerful

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My role model has always been my dad. I’ve watched him have everything, lose it, rebuild it and even at different levels overcome huge challenges. One thing he’s always protected was his family. Business can be up and down, that’s life; but thanks to him, I’m a quick thinker, problem solver and someone who thrives to create success in a way that suits my family.

5. The three words that describe me best are:
Driven, passionate and resilient.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would‌ it be?
Advice I would give anyone is to do what makes you happy. We live in a world where so many people want to impress others but when it comes down to it, you are the one looking back on your life and what you’ve achieved or regretted. Do the things that set your soul on fire but scare you at the same time. Let people be stuck in their mindset, whilst you continue to strive on yours.

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Five years from now, I’ll be in my family era, with a second home in our favourite place, Ibiza. Living between the UK and there. I’ll be recognised as a diamond ring wearer, impacting thousands of lives around the world. Training others on how to create the life of their dreams and leading from the front with my core team
