The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Kate Nally McCormack

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born and raised in a small town in the centre of Ireland and I’m still based here now, building life and business around family. I’m a mum to five incredible children, which is both my greatest joy and my biggest why. Before this business, I was always entrepreneurial at heart - juggling work, family, and side ventures - but I was constantly trading time for money.

Outside of work, I love travel (obviously!), creating a beautiful home life, personal development, and being around like-minded people who want more out of life.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
Joining PlanNet has stretched me in the best way. I’ve grown in confidence, leadership, belief, and consistency. I’ve learned how to show up even when it’s uncomfortable, how to lead without ego, and how to trust the process. I’m no longer just thinking about today - I’m building long-term, with vision and intention.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
Freedom drives me - time freedom & financial freedom. I’m motivated by building a legacy for my children and showing them what’s possible when you commit to something bigger than yourself. I’m also deeply motivated by helping other people realise they don’t have to settle for a life that feels limiting.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
I’m inspired by people who lead with integrity, consistency, and humility – especially those who’ve built success while lifting others as they climb. Strong women who balance family, leadership, and vision remind me that you don’t have to choose one life or the other – you can design both.

5. The three words that describe me best are:
Driven, loyal, and resilient.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would‌ it be?
Don’t wait until you feel “ready” - clarity comes from action. Start before you’re confident, stay consistent when it’s boring, and trust that small daily steps compound into massive change.

And never underestimate what one decision can do for your future.

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Five years from now, I see a life built around choice – working because I want to, not because I have to. More travel, more freedom with my family, and a strong, thriving team creating income and impact of their own. Most importantly, I see peace – knowing I built something sustainable that supports my family for generations.
