Congratulations to Talia Alexander for Achieving the 80/80 Club!
1. Personal: Where were you born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born and raised in Lawton/Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. A military brat, the oldest of five children: three brothers and one sister. My mom is a retired educator and my dad is a retired CSM/E-9 from the Army. I currently live in Houston, Texas. I have one son, 26, a college graduate, and in the MBA graduate program at the University of Houston.
I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mathematics, and have taught college level mathematics for 28 years. I am a McNair Scholar and a published mathematician. I am blessed to have taught over 3500 students domestically and internationally.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
When I first saw the business plan, I knew from the beginning that I would finally make serious income on my own terms!! However, I knew nothing about owning a business or network marketing. I am blessed to have two parents who worked every day at a job and all five of us duplicated this. I am a student of learning always, so I knew my learning curve may not progress as fast as others; however, I am willing to learn from my leaders. Reading books about network marketing and increasing my vocabulary has taken me on a journey that is so uplifting!
3 . What drives you; what motivates you?
The Residual income is a game changer! The PlanNet pledge drives me because I can change the trajectory of my family forever with a legacy business. I watched my parents work everyday for their five children; I want generational wealth, where my great-great-great-great-grandchildren will talk about how Grandma Iris built a business for them.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My role models are Marcus Mosiah Garvey and Mary McCloud Bethune. Both of these stepped out to be different and change the world for people who look like me. Marcus, an entrepreneur, believed in self-economics and self-autonomy. Mary, also an entrepreneur, created a college for women. Both were on a mission to help people to freedom!
5. The three words that describe me best are:
Coachability, Loyalty, and Competitive Spirit!
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
You must believe in the superstar who is inside of you!
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
I will have an organization of 1500+ where I am coaching, training and developing families in Houston, Oklahoma and Florida. I will be a Four-Star Director, married and living a debit lifestyle. I want to purchase an 8,000 square foot penthouse and a superyacht that has a swimming pool, helicopter landing pad, spa and cinema. I want to wake up with my husband, and we will decide which country to visit for the day for dinner. My eye's on the prize: to be on Mr. Bradley's plaque as one of his first 100 millionaires (pencil this on the list). I visualize myself at number 22 on the millionaire list. God willing and my grind stays in beast mode!
