The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Erica and Trevelyan Tetterton

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights?
We are born and raised in Greenville, NC. We have a blended family of 5 children: two boys (24 & 13), three girls (27, 25 & 7) and three grandboys, a set of twins (3 yrs old) and a one-year-old. Even though my husband isn't new to the entrepreneur world, but I am, and I am happy that we are building this business together. A highlight for us is hitting Directorship and securing a legacy.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
We have grown so much in so many areas, but mainly our confidence level has increased tremendously since we have been in the business. Feeding off each other's strengths and weaknesses makes us stronger as a couple. We were once in that box called the "Comfort Zone." Once we realized being in that Box was keeping us from Freedom, we went from the Comfort Zone to the Money Zone and now we're outside in these streets helping many families and getting to the bag UNAPOLOGETICALLY.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
What drives us is our kids and freedom. What motivates us is everyday looking at our bank accounts and not being where we desire to be. Getting up, clocking in everyday for someone who controls our time and money is not the life we want. This reminds us every day that we must keep going to be able to control our time and money and build generational wealth for our family.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
We have many individuals who inspire us and that we look up too, but these three individuals whom we consider role models are Orlanda Moore, J.P.Watkins-Mukes and Natalie Graham. Their drive, dedication and work ethic are EPIC. We love how they show up for the PlanNet and the pure genuine heart and love they have for people, They are everything we aspire to be as leaders.

5. The three words that describe me best are:
Authentic, Courageous and Driven.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would‌ it be?
The advice we would love to leave with you all is......Don't be afraid to fail. Failure is part of your PROCESS, and during your process there is PROGRESS that comes with learning and growth that will lead to your SUCCESS. Trust the process!

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Five years from now we will have financial and time freedom, knowing that money and time will not be an issue.
