1. Personal: Where you were born and raised; current city; family; hobbies; past business highlights.
I grew up in Taunton, Somerset but went to university in Plymouth, Devon. After studying to be a primary teacher and teaching throughout Covid, I soon got very itchy feet when our holidays got taken away from us. As soon as borders opened, I was off!
I left teaching to travel. When taking a 'gap year' to travel, everyone expects it to come to an end. But I wasn't prepared for when it did. I soon realised I didn't want to be teaching for the next 40 years and be restricted to travel in the summer holidays. I've always had a mindset for business but I never knew quite what avenue to go down.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I thought my university and gap year days were the years where I grew most as a person. But that was before I joined PlanNet! The last year I have developed as a person in more ways than I could imagine. I am the most confident and happiest version of myself that I have ever been.
3 What drives you, what motivates you?
As a Leo, I've always been a motivated and driven person, but the financial opportunities, lifestyle and freedom that PlanNet provides motivates me more than ever.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
Many of the PlanNet Directors are huge role models and of inspiration to me. Caroline Hamilton for the community she's created, Lyndsey Middleton's ability to lead with such calmness, Nataly Chadwick's energy, Rachael Lalji's girl boss attitude and of course, my incredible mentor Jo Lashley's consistency and for teaching me everything I know.
5. The three words that describe me best are:
Travel obsessed, determined, and enthusiastic.
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone, what would it be?
Embrace every opportunity this business gives you and dive in head first.
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Continuing to run my business whilst I travel and enjoy a lifestyle of freedom and adventure.
