1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born in Gallipolis, Ohio to a coal miner and a housewife. I was child #8 of 9 children. My husband and I live in Jackson, Ohio and have been together for 30 years. We have two grown daughters, Emily and Hannah. Emily is married and has two children, Camilla and Roman. I love being a Gigi. I was the first in my family to go to college, I was a dental hygienist for almost 30 years. Until one day after 30 years, my plan A was no longer an option when my boss retired unexpectedly for health reasons and closed our practice. At that time I had been in business with PlanNet for six months and made too much money to receive my unemployment benefits; that was when I decided I was all in for Plan B – PlanNet Marketing! I became a One-Star Director at my one-year mark in April 2022, Two-Star Director at the two-year mark in April 2023 and will be a Three-Star by the end of October 2023. I have a team of 1250 agents and an amazing team of reps. I love to travel and spend time with my family.
2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
I have been able to grow into a leadership role while providing support to my team of over 1200.
3. What drives you; what motivates you?
My daughters and grandchildren motivate me. I never had much growing up and I’ve always wanted better for my family. I’ve always told my daughters since they were small they could be whatever they wanted and to give it 110%. When I had a career change with PlanNet at 55 years old, I wanted my daughters and other women to know they could invest in themselves, they are worth it.
4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
Every person we meet in life plays a part in our lives. But if I had to name a few, my mom and my older sisters inspired me to be strong and independent. I hope I have taught my daughters the same. Surrounding myself with so many successful women like Natalie, Lateshia, and Kayla in this business who have those same qualities has been so inspiring to me, with them being so much younger than myself but them seeing value in me has been such a blessing.
5. The three words that describe me best are:
Outgoing, kind, and loyal.
6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would it be?
To believe in yourself always. Success is not never failing, it's getting back up and doing it over and over until you succeed.
7. What does your life look like five years from now?
In five years I want to be spending time with my family, traveling the world while leading my team of 10,000+ champions full of Directors.
