The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Amy Arehart

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born in Oklahoma, moved to Girard, Kansas, where I lived until I was 14, and then relocated to Piedmont, Oklahoma, where I still live today. I’m a wife, a mom of five, and a proud Gigi to nine beautiful baby grands. Spending time with my grandbabies is my favorite thing in the world; they light up my life. Over the years, I’ve dabbled in network marketing and even ran a brick-and-mortar business, but my career as an educator and administrator always came first, until 2023 when I retired and finally gave myself permission to fully embrace a new chapter.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
PlanNet has helped me refocus on what truly matters in life. It’s not only given me the space to grow as a leader, but also the opportunity to align my work with my purpose.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
I’ve always been motivated and deeply passionate about helping others succeed, but the real driving force behind everything I do is the desire to leave a legacy for my children and grandchildren.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
My greatest role model was, and always will be, my dad. He was raised by a single mom alongside eight siblings, and through those humble beginnings, he became one of the most resilient and dedicated men I’ve ever known. He was wounded in Vietnam, losing both his right arm and leg, but he never let that define him. Instead, he overcame every obstacle, achieved so much, and built a life of strength and purpose. His legacy lives on in everything I do.

5. The three words that describe me best are:
Dedicated, compassionate, and innovative.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would‌ it be?
The best advice I could ever give is this: strive to be the best version of you every single day. Show up. Keep going. Keep growing. And never stop working toward the life you dream of.

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Five years from now, I see myself still building my business daily, celebrating how far I’ve come, and continuing to help others create their own legacy. The work doesn’t stop and neither does the impact.
