The Leadership Spotlight Shines On: Amanda McMillan

1. Where were you born and raised; current city; family hobbies; past business highlights.
I was born and raised in Havelock, North Carolina, where I learned the value of hard work, resilience, and staying grounded. I now reside in Pensacola, Florida, which I proudly call home. I am a wife and a mother, and my family is my why. Everything I do is rooted in building a lasting legacy for them.

Professionally, I bring over 20 years of experience in financial services while also growing as an entrepreneur. I enjoy traveling, personal development, leadership growth, and creating spaces where people can connect, grow, and see new possibilities for their lives.

2. How have you grown or personally developed since joining PlanNet?
Since joining PlanNet, I have grown significantly in confidence, leadership, and belief. I have learned how to lead with intention, stay consistent, and think beyond my current circumstances. PlanNet has helped me develop discipline, stronger communication skills, and the courage to believe bigger not only for myself, but for my family and the people connected to me.

3. What drives you; what motivates you?
What drives me is legacy and impact. I am motivated by breaking cycles, creating generational wealth, and showing others that it is possible to live beyond limitations when you are willing to commit, stay consistent, and trust the process.

4. Who would you consider a role model and why?
I consider my Director, Tiffany Pierce, a role model because she leads with consistency, integrity, and quiet confidence. She does not just talk leadership, she lives it. She shows up, stays disciplined, and leads by example even when no one is watching. What I admire most is her ability to balance strength with humility while genuinely pouring into others and pushing them to see what is possible for themselves. Her leadership has challenged me to grow, stay accountable, and lead with purpose.

5. The three words that describe me best are:
Resilient, Consistent, and Purpose Driven.

6. If you had some sound advice to give to anyone what would‌ it be?
Do not allow fear, timing, or other people’s limitations to define what is possible for your life. Start where you are, stay consistent, and trust the process even when it feels uncomfortable. Small daily actions, done with discipline and belief, will compound into results that can completely change your life.

7. What does your life look like five years from now?
Five years from now, I see myself operating at the Four-Star level, achieving goals at a pace that once seemed impossible. I see financial freedom, time freedom, and peace. I see myself leading at a higher capacity, traveling more, mentoring leaders, and creating opportunities for others. Most importantly, I see myself living proof that consistency, belief, and disciplined action can turn vision into reality and legacy into something that lasts.
