Meet New 20/20 Club Member Jennifer LeBlanc!

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Jennifer LeBlanc to the 20/20 Club! She says, "Greetings! I’m Jen Sellick. I was brought up on Mount Desert Island in Maine, and returned to the Sebago Lake Region in Maine to raise my family after being in the military. My passions are my family, children and grandchildren, traveling to watch my sons play college football, reading, my cats, cooking and volunteering.

"I was lucky to travel extensively during childhood – my parents were avid cruisers. I’ve enjoyed time in the Caribbean, Bahamas, Central America, both Mexico coasts, and my all-time favorite place, Hawaii. Traveling for me is the ultimate gift – to receive a cultural immersion within all of the senses is what connects us as humans. It’s a privilege to be a travel agent, and to be trusted by others to bring that experience and connection to them.

"Over the past few years, my family has been presented with some extraordinary challenges. In January of 2021, we lost my daughter to addiction at the age of 23. The emotional toll continues to be devastating. The financial toll was decimating. Thank God for our community coming through for us – we would not have made it through without them.

"My husband’s health started to seriously decline after her passing, and just when we were catching up again, his heart failed. In May of 2022 he was placed on the transplant list. By September, he was a full time resident at Massachusetts General Hospital, being kept alive by medicine and machines. Once again, the emotional and financial toll was decimating. I found myself by grace living in the basement of a family member’s home. After the complete loss of my husband’s income and having to wait almost a year for disability, we were barely surviving. Our community rallied again, and ensured I had funds to travel to see my husband every weekend. We were privileged to witness a miracle on Christmas Eve of 2022, when the call came that there was a heart for my husband – and it was a perfect match. That surgery was finalized Christmas morning at 4am. He came home 10 days later.

"Things were looking up! Then in May of 2023, leadership within my job changed, and I no longer felt secure or valued. I decided then and there that my financial destiny was no longer going to be in the hands of anyone else. I reached out to my sister who is also a travel agent, and requested her blessing for me to give it a try as well. In June of 2023, I launched my travel agency.

"I absorbed every bit of training I could. I devoured every self-development audio book that was recommended to me. I plugged into every call and Zoom I could. I listened to the wisdom of my mentors, and created a Daily Method of Operation that I could execute, every day, no excuses. I latched onto my rock star Director, Jane Freund, and requested task after task, assignment after assignment. I showed up for events, for education summits, and invested every spare second in my business. I also took the wise counsel of posting lives, stories, reels about my business, every day on social media. I took to heart that people do business with people they like, see and trust. I made sure to show up as my mentors taught me, and with consistency.

"To anyone who has the mindset that they WILL be achieving their goals: you can do this. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Be patient, but show up. You must show up – for yourself –to achieve your goals. Take pleasure in the grind and enjoy your seasons of both sowing and reaping.

"I’ll see you all at Convention! I’ll be the one with the #LFG shirt on- if you know, you know! – J"
