Meet New 20/20 Club Member Cheryl Flounders!

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Cheryl Flounders to the 20/20 Club! Cheryl tells us, "I'm a multiple business owner – I also run my own pushchair valeting service (yes! this is a thing!). I have two young children, Lissia, age six, and Jesse, age four, and we live in Warwickshire, just outside of Royal Leamington Spa. I have always had a love of travel. My most vivid and precious memories from childhood are that of our family holidays – and I want the same for my kids, for them to be able to see and experience more of the world. I don't think there has been a single year where I have not hopped on a plane to somewhere sunny. I also spent four months after graduating (many years ago) to backpack to Thailand, Australia, Fiji and the US. 

"Back in August 2022, after leaving my fifteen-year career in PR and marketing, I stumbled across this opportunity via Instagram. I initially only joined to make a small income booking travel for friends and family. However, after falling in love with the product and shouting about it to anyone who was happy to listen, it made complete sense – particularly considering my background in marketing – to start building my own team and help other families to do the same. 

"Not only has becoming a travel agent enabled us to enjoy some incredible family holidays, with lots more planned for 2024, the flexibility that PlanNet Marketing allows in terms of being able to earn an income on my own terms means that I never have to worry about juggling being a mum with work. I can always attend school assemblies and I'm there to walk them both to school and greet them at the school gates when the day has ended – being able to be there for my kids means the world. 

"Hitting 20/20 feels incredible! For me, consistency has been key, showing up every day on social media and building authentic connections with my followers has absolutely helped. For those just starting out, my advice would be to plug into all of the resources available to you, join the calls, complete the trainings, and attend the meetups, stay close to those who are successful in this business and you'll soon find yourself achieving, too. 

"Fun fact about me... I used to work in celebrity PR so have been on the set of many TV shows and have had lots of funny and sometimes surreal encounters with those in the public eye, some that probably shouldn't be shared; however, if you catch me after a wine or too, I may tell all."
