Congratulations to Thomas Berry for achieving One-Star Director! Thomas is from Washington, DC and now lives in Brandywine, MD. He tells us, "I’ve been married for 18 years with one teenage child, Thomas Berry II, who also plays football for DeMatha High School. One of my favorite titles in life is being a dad, I love being a father. Growing up without that role model in my life, I see how big the blessing of being a father really is, and that role means the world to me. I graduated and played college football at Delaware State University and still enjoy going back to campus for games and hanging with old friends and teammates. I enjoy fishing and being out on the water with family and friends.
"I have very little travel experience but my wife loves to travel, so this feels like the perfect business to be in, lol. I’ve always felt I was too busy to travel and was very comfortable with very little travel, if any. That all changed this past December 23rd when I took my family on a Christmas cruise. I had an amazing time on the ship and started looking for network marketing travel companies to join. I’ve had some network marketing experience years ago, and was talking to my wife about getting back into the industry, but didn’t know of a company at the time. I saw my family having so much fun on the cruise, I knew right then that travel was the industry I needed to be in.

"One tip I would share is, learn and get better at two skills: The skill of inviting and the skill of promoting events. Those two skills have helped me every step of the way from day one. Learn the language of a strong and confident invitation and the skill of promoting your events like it’s the Super Bowl or the World Series.
"Also, when you start something new, don’t skip over the education and learning stage. I've seen people make the mistake of trying to wing it without investing time to learn how the business works. The more I continue to learn about our industry of network marketing, the more I love it and love being a part of PlanNet Marketing.
"One little but major fun fact about me is that I love to cook, mainly grill. I'm known as the family celebrity chef when it comes to grilling. Spending time with family and friends and some amazingly grilled food brings everyone together with a smile."
