PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Michelle Cavanagh to the 20/20 Club! Michelle tells us, "I come from a fishing village called Greencastle in County Donegal, Ireland. I am married to Philip who is skipper of the family's pelagic trawler. We have three children and a lovely dog called Benji who is a big part of our family. As you can tell my husband likes boats, I like planes so we have a marriage made in heaven when it comes to travelling... And if you haven't guessed - cruising is our favourite type of holiday – it allows you to see more places in one holiday. We are also foodies and love nice quality food. Apart from what I do now, cooking has always been a passion of mine. I love learning new things as well as reading novels, particularly Harlan Coben or Mary Higgins Clarke, love a good page turner.
"When Opportunity Knocks - I believe in signs, because this opportunity came up on my Instagram feed the same week my youngest daughter headed off to secondary school. When I'm curious about something, I will reach out for more information and when something feels right, I go for it, no stalling, which is exactly what I did. That same September 2023, PlanNet Marketing entered my life. It was an opportunity that sounded just perfect for me.
"My why was 100% for me (not meaning to sound selfish). I had raised the kids, was fortunate to be in a position to be at home for them but now it was my turn. My turn to find a new purpose, something new to be part of and here I am and loving every minute of it. We have travelled like never before.
"I am generally quite a quiet person, like to do things quietly, no fuss. But being part of this business has seen my confidence grow, my business grow and the network around me grow. I lost my wonderful dad in the middle of this journey so for me personally, this hasn't just been about building my business, I had to refocus and I used PlanNet Marketing as my therapy in a time of need, for that I am also grateful.
