I was born and raised in the city of North Chicago, IL, which is right outside of Chicago, IL. Growing up in my city, you were not challenged to be great, but to do all you can to survive. I was told at an early age that I wouldn’t amount to much and would probably be dead by the time I reached 21 years of age, BUT GOD.
