PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Luke Webber to the 20/20 Club! Luke tells us, "I'm based on the Hertfordshire/Essex border, just up the road from Stansted Airport (conveniently). I'm a super sporty guy who came up the 'traditional' way - school, university, then a gap year coaching 'soccer' in America before beginning a career in insurance in London. Twelve years later, I found PlanNet Marketing in the middle of COVID in pursuit of something greater for myself. I played rugby at a semi-professional level before taking up competitive CrossFit for several years, but I now have a huge golf obsession and I'm very much looking forward to playing 18 holes with Mr Bradley in Orlando in September!
"Naturally, travel is always high on my agenda. My goal in 2025 was to travel abroad 8 times. I am 4 down so far - Convention is next!! We love to visit different parts of North America and had an incredible time in Canada earlier this summer, but we have plans to travel East in 2026 to SE Asia and Australia for the first time to visit family in Sydney.
"Growing my business has been a steady process, but in the last year I've gone up through the gears and tripled my output whilst still working my corporate 9-5. A big factor in my progress is my team. I'm lucky to have a great group alongside me who help me lead my whole team. I've also made a big point of networking internally with Directors at big events in London and Monaco this year to put myself closer to the big achievers and learn from them. My advice - get to events and make yourself known!!
"I set high standards for myself, knowing that I am the only one responsbile for achieving my goals. Don't rely on anyone else to do the work for you. I have been able to thrive as a male in this organisation by putting myself forward into leadership roles with the wider team. There is a huge opening for us guys to step into the spotlight and lead the way for more men to join us and follow and that is something myself and a few of the other male leaders in our team are working hard on currently."
