PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Kristin Scanlan to the 20/20 Club! Kristin tells us, "I am a born-and-raised Floridian currently living in the suburbs of Chicago. While I’ve grown to love the Midwest seasons, my heart still belongs to the Sunshine State, and I fully plan on returning to Florida when retirement calls my name.
"When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me spending time with my daughters and family. They are my world. I also have a deep love for scuba diving and volleyball — anything that keeps me active and connected. But above all, I have a passion for travel. Exploring the globe, trying new foods, and immersing myself in different cultures fills my cup in a way nothing else does.
"Over the years, I’ve traveled throughout the Caribbean, across the United States, and internationally to Italy and Greece. Of all the places I’ve experienced so far, Rome holds a special place in my heart. There’s something about the history, the energy, and the culture that completely captured me. I could easily see myself spending several more weeks wandering its streets someday. Still on my bucket list? Fiji and Japan, both calling my name for very different, but equally exciting, reasons.
"My success with PlanNet Marketing has been rooted in something simple: connection. I truly don’t know a stranger. When you openly share what you’re passionate about, people feel that authenticity. I follow a DMO, stay organized, and most importantly, I focus on helping others. When you make it about serving people and creating opportunities for them, it naturally becomes bigger than just business; it becomes purpose.
"And here’s a fun fact about me: I don’t like shopping. I’m not big on gifts either. What I treasure most is time. I would much rather sit down for coffee with a friend or family member on my birthday than receive something wrapped in a box. And if a gift is given, the homemade kind means the most to me, thoughtful, personal, and from the heart."
