Congratulations to Karen Auguste Mahomes for Achieving the 20/20 Club!

Meet Karen!

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Karen Auguste Mahomes to the 20/20 Club! Karen tells us, "I am a wife, mother, bonus mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, raised in Berkeley, California, during the height of the civil rights movement. While working in Silicon Valley and completing an Executive MBA program, I launched and led a successful, award-winning marketing communications agency for over 12 years, in addition to teaching entrepreneurship classes in the Bay Area and New York. I married retired Lieutenant Colonel Ronald Mahomes nearly 10 years ago, where we split our time between Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Ellenwood, Georgia. As one of the InteleTravel Ambassadors, I enjoy coaching my team and others to maximize their commissions in the group and luxury travel space.

"When I am not working, you can find me at the spa, enjoying a jazz or comedy show, or appreciating various international foods with an emphasis on al fresco, rooftop dining. My travels have led me to various parts of the globe, including Alaska, Aruba, Cabo San Lucas, Cancun, Costa Rica, Cuba, Curacao, the Dominican Republic, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, Lake Tahoe, Los Angeles, Maui, Miami, New York, Puerto Rico, the Panama Canal, and Turks & Caicos. Yet to be experienced, and first on the Bucket List --- the islands of Mauritius and Madagascar, with Morocco a very close second.

"When I first learned about this opportunity, I didn’t hesitate for a second—I just knew it was meant for me. After spending years as a travel consumer, the idea of being on the income-earning side of travel felt like a game-changer. I quickly jumped in as a Rep and ITA, set my sights on becoming an Ambassador, and achieved that goal. At first, I focused on booking travel for myself and others. But recently something unexpected happened—while wearing one of my many souvenir shirts (I love to collect one from every destination I visit!), a stranger asked if I had actually been to Costa Rica, the place featured on my shirt. That conversation turned into something bigger: Instead of just offering to book their trip, I shared how they could travel like I travel—earning income; creating personal, financial, and time freedom; and exploring the world. They were all in.

"Since then, these casual conversations—sparked by simple travel shirts—have opened the door to more people wanting to know my secret, and join my team. And honestly? I'm always excited to share it, and enjoy more of what this opportunity has to offer.

"Fun fact: I am a Vietnam-era Navy veteran. Don’t ask what I did as I held a top-secret security clearance while enlisted."
