Congratulations to Eithne Lyons for Achieving the 20/20 Club!

Meet Eithne!

PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Eithne Lyons to the 20/20 Club! Eithne tells us, "I'm a primary school teacher, a mum of three young children and a successful travel business mentor. I live in Tyrone, in the North of Ireland, but I was born and bred in Tipperary, in the South of Ireland.

"I find I am happiest when I am in the company of family and friends. Here I find moments of absolute bliss, from the smallest things, the most precious things.  In my younger days I played lots of sport and now I've turned towards managing teams, I love the competitiveness. I enjoy running and in 2025 ran my first half marathon. 2026 will see new challenges in sport, but these have yet to be decided.

"I have always loved travelling, and I first began travelling the world at just 18 years of age when I moved to New Zealand with my sister and two friends. We worked on the apple orchards, bought a cheap car and toured the most breathtaking country. It stole my heart and I can't wait to take my children back there someday. With that I caught the 'travelling bug.' I returned home for a brief time before moving to England to complete my university degree and then saved as much as I could before travelling throughout South America with my boyfriend, now my husband. We moved to live in Shanghai for over three years and used it as a base to explore Asia. Through playing Gaelic football, I toured to different countries playing in competitions and meeting people from all over the world. We then moved to Qatar for two further years before returning home to the Emerald Isle, but not before seeing some of the Middle East and even more of Southern Asia. By the age of 30, I had visited 30 countries and the list has continued to grow ever since. The cities in Europe are on my doorstep and so a weekend trip is always on the cards.

"The only way to achieve success in the marketing business is to follow in the footsteps of those who have come before us. Watch how they speak and the language they use, because their success is a testament to how the marketing industry operates. I use my own story as my strength and my connection with others who want freedom and a family life, all at once. You need to tell people your story so that they can connect with you and feel seen. Then they will trust you enough to become part of something that is life-changing. And let go of the fear, the fear of failure, the fear of judgement, the fear that you won't succeed because this is the only way to ensure you can get the life you want, without the sacrifices.

"I didn't hit 20/20 as quickly as some others do, and that's ok as I am working this business alongside my job as a full-time Primary School teacher, as well as being a busy mum of three amazing children. I use it the way that works for me and I will achieve success on my terms. I build trust with those who join me and we will work together to build our futures in the business.

"A fun fact about me: I love extreme activities! I have sky dived in Australia, done the highest bungy jump in New Zealand, and mountain biked down Death Road in Bolivia!"
