PlanNet Marketing is pleased to welcome Deirdre (Dee) Penrose to the 20/20 Club! She tells us, "My name is Deirdre, better known as Dee Penrose. I’m 28 years old and from the little village of Ballynacargy in County Westmeath, Ireland. I’m a partner to David and a proud mom to our little boy, Donnacha (1). My life has always been busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! Along with being a mom, I’m a primary school teacher, a musician, and I also help teach traditional Irish set dancing to children in my community.
"When I’m not playing music, you’ll likely find me in a window seat on my way to explore a new country. Travel has always been a passion of mine, and despite what people said about slowing down after having a baby, I’m determined to prove them wrong. My goal is to visit as many countries as possible with my family and create unforgettable memories along the way.
"My love of travel led me to discover PlanNet Marketing, and what started as a way to fund my holidays turned into something I never expected – a fulfilling business. I never saw myself as a business owner, but network marketing quickly won me over. The thrill of setting and achieving targets while balancing my roles as a mom, partner, teacher, musician, and gym enthusiast has been nothing short of empowering.
"I could have made excuses – too busy, no time, not enough money – but instead, I took a chance on myself, and I’m so grateful I did.
"My advice for success? Show up for yourself every single day. Success doesn’t happen overnight, but this is your business, and only you can make it thrive. Stay consistent, disciplined, coachable, and open to learning from your mentors and directors. Start small; achieving little goals builds momentum toward the big ones. With the right mindset, anything is possible.
"Fun fact: I actually hated school when I was younger and used to use music as an excuse to get out of doing my homework! It’s funny how life comes full circle, as now I’m a teacher myself – hopefully inspiring a love of learning (and music!) in my students.
"I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve accomplished since joining this business, and I can’t wait to see where the next year takes me."
