Cara tells us, "I grew up in East Anglia and moved to the Midlands as a children’s nanny 30 years ago, which eventually led me to becoming a childminder seven years ago. We’ve recently relocated to Stourbridge, where my husband, Mark, and I have taken on a house renovation project alongside busy family life. We’re proud parents to our gorgeous son, Ruben, who keeps us on our toes. I’m a full-time childminder, juggling school runs, after-school clubs, socialising, family life, and renovating our home — all while building a travel business that fits perfectly around it all.

"Travel has been part of who I am for as long as I can remember. I’ve been lucky to experience some amazing places, and nothing makes me happier than helping others do the same. For me, travel is about so much more than holidays — it’s about freedom, confidence, and opening doors to new opportunities. Travel is a huge part of our family life. We’re big cruise lovers and have explored the Caribbean, Norwegian Fjords and Northern Europe, alongside unforgettable trips to Ibiza, the Bahamas, Paris, Barcelona and a magical Santa trip. We’re heading to Thailand in March and Abu Dhabi to celebrate my big birthday — more bucket-list moments in the making!

"I pride myself on showing up consistently, chatting to anyone who wants to talk holidays, and building genuine relationships. I’ve even signed someone up while chatting on a flight to Turkey — proof that travel conversations really can happen anywhere. I now have an amazing team of 27 people and love supporting others on their own journeys.
