Commission Example Rules

PlanNet Marketing Reps are LIMITED in their use of price comparisons to show the value of the InteleTravel ITA. This is super important to note, because Reps are out there sharing WAY too much information – information that they really can't even access. You see, PlanNet Reps don't have access to travel pricing or commission amounts – only Travel Agents do. You might be BOTH a Rep and an Agent – but you have to remember who you're posting as and keep that other business's information out of the post. If you're a Rep selling ITAs – you cannot talk about travel vendors – not ever, at all, period, end of story. Don't use that hotel's name, don't talk about that theme park's deals, don't do it. Only Travel Agents, who are booking trips and vacations, can use those names, logos and information.

If you want to show an example of travel commissions that an ITA could earn, there are some guidelines to follow.

1) Make sure you're sharing a commission example that is from a REAL, sellable booking. This means an Agent can sell that trip and earn that commission. No special savings, discounts or rates can be talked about or shown – ever! Please be sure to show 70% of the commission earned by the actual Agent (as InteleTravel is paid the other 30%). Showing the WHOLE commission amount without the 70/30 split is misleading to prospects.

2) DO NOT share the supplier information  no mention of any name, logo, imagery or website for that supplier. This includes no screenshots from their website or any booking website and no videos either – EVER), the websites of suppliers and booking websites are owned by those companies and Reps should not ever use those in their advertisement for the sale of ITAs.

3) Talk about the WORK involved.  The more information you offer about the effort necessary to book and earn as an Agent, the BETTER. This is not a get rich quick business. It requires WORK. Please don't show how an agent just enrolled yesterday and booked a MASSIVE trip with tons of commission on day two, or even week two – talk about learning while earning. Let's normalize that while this is FUN and promotes FREEDOM, it also takes some EFFORT and WORK. There is training and education out there available to make Agents better at what they do – let's talk about THAT (it is free after all, Agents just access it in their InteleTravel Back Office).

Please see the commission example below – it's showing the price of the booking, the overall commission, and the portion the Agent will be paid. In addition, it doesn't use any other company's proprietary information – no names, logos, websites, etc. When you post this, say something like "Agents can book for friends or family – and the more you know, the easier it will become. Becoming a cruise or vacation specialist can draw in more bookings and earn more commissions!"

Please do NOT show the InteleTravel Back Office ever – that is their proprietary information and should not be shared publicly. Please do NOT show any vendor or supplier names or logos or websites (no hotel, resort, theme park, airline, cruise names, etc). Sharing the wrong information can damage InteleTravel's reputation in the travel industry.
