Know the Rules, TEACH the Rules

Here are more "Scary Truths from PlanNet Marketing." The truth about following the Policies and Procedures and remaining legal and ethical in your business dealings can be very scary, but with a few tips and a healthy dose of knowledge, your PlanNet Marketing business won’t elicit fear in the hearts of you or your business partners.

The Scary Truth About Being a PlanNet Marketing Rep
Know the Rules, TEACH the Rules

*BRRRING, BRRRING* The phone rings and it’s your new team member, the one who was so excited to get started and just sold their first ITA. They got an email from PlanNet Marketing Compliance because they broke a rule and they have until tomorrow at noon to reply. Even worse, the Rep is telling you that they did EXACTLY what you taught them to do, and it’s not compliant. What do you do now!? *Duh, duh, DUUUUUUUUUUH*

Here at PlanNet Marketing, we advocate a business that is compliant and duplicatable – follow the rules and teach others to do the same. Step one is always to KNOW the rules yourself. Step two is to TEACH your team!

How are your teaching skills? Are you uninformed about PlanNet’s Policies and Procedures and unknowingly teaching your bad habits to your team? What if you are teaching your team to BREAK THE RULES and you don’t even know it!?

Per our Policies and Procedures, every Rep is responsible for knowing and following our rules. But Reps are also responsible for training their team! Don’t duplicate your business until you’re confident that you understand and are following the rules.

If you or a member of your team gets an email from PlanNet Marketing Compliance, it can feel scary. Just be responsible and respectful in your response and we will be respectful and as helpful as we can. The PlanNet Marketing team is ON YOUR SIDE! We want you to succeed. If you got an email, it’s probably just asking for you to make a change to become compliant. Please make sure you respond to the email in a timely fashion. There’s no need to call your upline Director and have them call in and speak to me. You are responsible for your business and the best way to take responsibility is to own up to your mistake (whether you knew it was wrong or not) and then learn from it and move forward. In matters of compliance, it is important for the Company to have a written record of the matter. Yes, it can feel scary – but together we can take your business out of the spooky shadows and into the light of complete compliance.
