Recruiting for Success!

PlanNet Reps are encouraged to ensure they are recruiting and enrolling people who are excited and ready for a new opportunity in their lives – but what if we reach out to someone who is excited but NOT READY?

I don’t mean the usual obstacles of the business (not sure they can do it, don’t have time, don’t have the money, etc). I’m talking about legal obstacles of which neither you nor your prospect may be aware. PlanNet Marketing is a business, we are only allowed to operate our business in markets (countries) where we have legal permission to operate – and that can be tough with so many people out there wanting to join the best place on the PlanNet!

When a new Rep joins your team, or a prospect buys an ITA from you, please make sure you do your due diligence to ensure they QUALIFY to be a Rep/ITA…yes that’s right. Not everyone can be a Rep!

Here’s the checklist you should run through with each person before they enroll:

1)  Are they 18 or older? Every person who enrolls as a Rep must be 18 years old or older at the time of enrollment. There are NO exceptions to this rule. Please ensure your prospects are 18 or older.

2)  Do they live in the USA, UK, Ireland or other open market? PlanNet Marketing requires our Reps primarily to live in (physically reside there, not just be a citizen) a country where we are legally allowed to operate. If PlanNet Marketing has any reason to believe a person might not have enrolled from an open market, we will reach out and require proof that the person lives in a country where we are open for business.

3)  Are they PHYSICALLY IN that country right now? Established PlanNet Marketing Reps are free to travel as they wish. However, a Rep/ITA should always be physically located in a country where our company is legally allowed to do business when they initially enroll. Why the location requirement for initial enrollment? Because if someone enrolls while physically located in a closed market, the sponsoring Rep and the company are operating illegally. The Rep is also restricted while traveling – they can work their business but must ONLY recruit Reps and sell ITAs to people who are physically located in open markets.

4)  Are they legally allowed to work in that country? Reps may live in an open market, but they also have to be allowed to work in that open market (and prepared to pay taxes)! If a prospect is on an extended holiday or living somewhere on a VISA, please ensure they are allowed to work and earn money and pay taxes in that market/country. It is the responsibility of each Rep to ensure they are paying all taxes due where they live.

Reps should ONLY advertise the ITA and Rep businesses in markets where PlanNet Marketing is currently open. Sometimes there is talk about opening a new market/country and everyone gets so excited! But DO NOT start advertising in new markets until we have officially opened. Why?! Laws can be strict, timelines can change, and PlanNet Marketing always wants to operate at the highest levels of integrity. Let us do all the hard work, getting ready to roll out the red carpet in that new market. In the meantime, please be patient. Advertising in a closed market (even if someone said we might open there later this year) is a violation and puts you and PlanNet Marketing at risk for legal action.
